This is a very worthwhile game. It has all the issues you'd expect from a Tomb Raider title, but also some of the highs you might not. Get it for £15 or under and you'll not regret it.

Picked this up last night and went through the first part with the gf, really makes me want more puzzles in Uncharted! It was quite nice just wandering around and exploring without having to worry too much about the combat...so far very good and very enjoyable!

Although Uncharted is the better game, it's just gets a bit too shooty for it's own good!

found the impressions on Noobtoob quite helpful at about 20-25 minutes in (anyone else watch this show?)

Just got this and I must say from the first two areas is very pretty even on my SD TV. Some great environments with a solid feel to them. Camera can be a pain as usual (typical for TR eh?). Puzzles are fine and not too taxing (takes a while to understand the mechanics of many of them because some of them are on a grand scale). For £6 I reckon its a good purchase. Can't wait to get my HDTV soon to see this in High Def.

It's a very good looking game, yes. Not a bad game either, well worth £6. It's flawed, but there's enjoyment to be had.

I noticed this is now £2.98 preowned in Gamestation for anyone who cares.

The combat in this makes me far too angry. Lizards knocking me off ledges etc, I get into a bit of a panic in combat because the controls are so fucking rubbish for it.

I'm good at shooting games damnit!

    Ditto.

    Massively underrated game IMO.

Depends what you look for, Uncharted has the production values and polish, but its more of a cover shooter with some puzzles and platform bits, which are relatively lightweight.

The platforming is more of an auto-jump style, like most modern games, it helps make the jumps, while TR is still kinda like the old Core ones where its a test of skill and timing.

Sadly they always throw in combat and other bits in the sequel but no matter how much we tell em they kept doing it *broken record* here's hoping the reboot finally delivers a true sequel to the original, Tomb Raider - the British Metroid! :o

But the platforming in Underworld isn't as good as Uncharted 2, either..

    Sod it, I bought it. I couldn't resist for £2.98. I'm sure I'll get my money's worth.
