    She's been hauled in front of the cameras, bit of shame really. Thought the posts were quite funny. They should have stood by her rather than submit to the Mails dirt digging. Maybe they'll approve someone more middle class and who has no sex drive.
    Now resigned. Shame. The tweets were in the past, they were stupid, but then teenagers ARE stupid. Seems like she accepted she had been and would have grown past it. DM are cunts. What kind of youth representative do they want? Hague?

    Hard to say that the only way to stop this would have been for everyone else to have guns :(

    Surprised they didn't shoot him. They do seem to take great pleasure in petty little 'wins' over there.

    Emo Hate Crime

    Odd, I thought hate crime were against things you can't change like race, gender, orientation and religion. (Religion being included due to links with race and culture.) This would normally count as a 'normal' crime.

    I mean, what is the tight trousered thing all about? Amirite?
  • Deleted user 12 April 2013 00:08:16
    Surely if you are still dressing like a goth and listening to heavy metal after the age of 14 you are going to be protected under the disability discrimination laws. This seems unnecessary.

    Anyone who ever saw a National Geographic documentary would dispute his claims, surely.

    Iran invents time machine

    * It's the size of a PC;
    * It can look five to eight years into the future;
    * Details such as “age of marriage, number of children, education, occupation, war, disease, and so on” will be predicted “with a 98% accuracy”;
    * It can also predict exchange rate fluctuations.

    Perhaps the most important feature of the device, the story said, is that Iran spent just $US400,000 or $500,000 on its creation. But the USA, the story says has spent 50 years trying to build just such a device and has spent about $10bn a year doing so.

    I'm sure there's something reasonably similar to that, although I think it only works with future political events. It works by scanning through news from the last 50-odd years to try and predict what will happen in the future. I'm sure it predicted the Arab Spring, which caught the West by surprise at the time (although it predicted it after the fact, admittedly).

    My favourite headline of 2013 so far.

    "Gordon Ramsay's dwarf porn double Percy Foster dies in badger den"

    Deja Vu, that headline did the rounds either last year or the year before. Turned out to be bullshit then.

    Unless it turned out to be a strangely prophetic article that is...

    I honestly don't get all the fuss (but then I'm not Jewish, so you can tell me to shut up). It wasn't the most appropriate thing to write and he does seem like he might be a bit thick, but I think his heart was in the right place TBH.

    I like to think the only reason he knows who Anne Frank is, is because he heard the name in an Outkast song. But he's not cool enough to have heard any Outkast except Hey Ya.

    I also don't get what the fuss is about. He was paying his respects, and the Anne Frank museum defended him. I suppose he said what he did because he's been told since aged 15 that he's the greatest thing ever by his management company and several hangers on.
  • Deleted user 15 April 2013 17:06:18
    I don't think it's offensive, and the fuss is just because everyone loves to hate on Bieber, however, it is a very very odd thing to write. It's not exactly appropriate or in the tone of the place, and it does highlight how incredibly stupid and self-centred he is.

    But yes, breaking news, the earth is round etc.
