    There are only two real options, reduce guns or increase them.

    NRA will never properly back less guns so they have to go for this batshit insane theory instead.

    Part of the problem is thinking there's a fast answer. The entire mentality of many people in the US needs a step change, especially with regard to mental illness (and the pressures on young people).

    Ref the 2 firemen killed, the shooter is dead. No report if suicude or shot by police

    House was set on fire, police say may have been set up as a trap for the firefighters. First responders were were hit by " a hail of bullets"

    After the casualties were taken, firefighters pulled out of the area, correctly refused to go back until the area was secure. The fire spread to 2 other houses as well

    Area is meant to be a middle class lakeside area.

    December last year in the same area there there was a house fire started by a 15 year old. He poured gasoline round the house. The fire killed his father and 2 brothers. Mother and sister escaped

    A teacher -without any firearms, firearms training or assistance from someone with a firearm- TALKS a shooter out of shooting any more people.

    This must be some sort of trick or misreporting. Everyone knows the correct way to prevent a shooting is to shoot first.

    Not sure if this this really counts exactly, but if anyone is familiar with FPSRussia on YouTube, it seems that the other guy Keith Ratliff (the behind the scenes guy) was murdered recently. Unsurprisingly, gunshot to the head.
