mouldy bongos

    Last night I opened my gamecube bongos, I had kept them boxed in the garage for about a year. When I opened them, the cream bit had mould spots on it :(, but the box was fine :D.

    Has anyone elses bongos gone mouldy ?

    For a second I thought this thread was going to be a pisstake of the particularly stupifying name the European XBox Live community manager has given himself - Acey Bongos.

    Then I saw it was in the GC category so I thought it couldn't be.

    Still, I thought I'd at least share this because I haven't yet taken the opportunity to voice my amazement at the incedibly stupid name of Acey Bongos.

    They're great! 'Don't stop me now' by queen on donkey kong bongos is a sight to behold

    Just got back from the Mouldy Bongo's concert, absolutely brilliant!

    They sang all there hits like 'Crustacean on my D-pad' and 'I Shit on your Disk Drive'

    I'm going to root out a set of bongos over the weekend and boot up a bit of Donkey Konga on the Wii.

    DON-KEY KON-GA!

    Loved the latin Zelda arrangement on super hard. Will take some practice to get back to the form I was on. I have all 3 DK games so will have an enjoyable afternoon if its pissing it down out.

    The platformer, what was it called - Jungle Beat? - was better than the Konga games and the best use of the bongos on the system.

    Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

    Yeah, Jungle Beat was great. EAD Tokyo's first game I believe. Why it was ported to the Wii I don't know. The bongos are what made that game!
