    Our xmas do was in a casino....which was my introduction to Casinos. 3 £5 chips each offmanagement and I cashed in £70 from playing £5 bets on Blackjack.

    God I love that game, the casino.....the feeling. Its been two weeks and the cravings are starting to subside...

    Blackjack can make you rich or poor rather quickly. You have to get lucky and get in and out at the right times.

    very true me and a colleague were watching one table for a while and reading the reactions of a couple of guys who looked like they were counting helped with the timing.

    Blackjack is a great game if you (a) have some idea what you're doing and (b) get a bit of luck.

    I went to Las Vegas for my birthday a few years back and a mate and me managed to hang around on the same table for hours and hours, getting free drinks along the way. Great stuff.

    However, when things don't go your way, it is a shit game.

    Most casinos don't like counters, though - so you have to be careful with that.

    I actually work in the gambling industry... We keep an eye on our gamers in case they do play a lots. We adhere to loads of guidelines etc. It's actually a fun industry to work in. Though I don't gamble myself :)

    At the moment, mobile - fruit machines and other games; but there's more to it than that. It's really fascinating stuff, actually :D

    We have some pretty decent payouts and prizes and stuff, too :)

    That only really works on a 2-to-1 odds I wanna break even-ish thing.

    You could just bet £5 a go and after 10 bets be £50 down and walk away feeling philosophical. Rather than being £5115 after 10 bets.

    I won €700 on an accumulator on betfair in October and pissed away almost €400 of that on gambling(poker + football).

    I've been meaning to give the accumulators a try anyone know any good ones going for the weekends prem matches?
