I was interested as I'm currently participating in a creative writing course myself.
Really like the concept, it feels almost futuristic but only a few years away. It's nicely descriptive, I could picture everything you were showing us. There are one or two places that you used too many words though, definitely take a look at the DVR bit for instance, I had to read that bit s few times as it didn't flow like the rest of the piece.
