I'm surprised there aren't more fighters with a Karate base in the UFC, especially at the lighter weight classes.
I know current MMA are very anti TMA (Traditional Martial Arts), but IMO, I think a lot of some TMA methods will transfer over modern MMA.
I personally feel Muai Thai is way overrated as the "only" striking art to use in MMA.
