@Murbal Actually it's not god awful, I am actually getting a nice amount of respondents.
Of course everyone has their own definition of "hardcore" but for the purpose of this study I had to produce a standard definition to get results from respondents that would class themselves hardcore under one specific definition.
Some of us have been playing games for probably almost twice as long as you've been alive, and have reasonable disposable incomes that we can buy whatever game stuff we want. For me, "hardcore gamers" conjures up spotty teenagers calling your mum a poof on XBLA
