I wouldn't bother with Goto tbh. I've got on a 8" Newtonian on a skywatcher HEQ5. I never use the goto any more, but the tracking is brilliant. For goto to work you have to spend ages sorting out the alignment. I like to rotate the scope to get the eyepiece in a better position and no matter how careful I am, that *always* ruins the GOTO alignment, which is rarely any good anway. The tracking alignment stay though obviously as you're still polar aligned.
Don't get the goto and spend the saving on a decent wide angle eyepiece!
