    Yeah, I really wished I had a low power 2" eyepiece, or some kind of ultra-wide thing. The best I've got is a 32mm plossl. My plan is to aim my dob at Ursa Major when it's due to cross it at 2130 or so and hope!

    I'll take my bins as well, but I find using bins difficult because I wear glasses. Also, the predicted magnitude is 8 to 11 for the UK, so it's going to be bit of a push for bins imho, though that does technically put it at what you should be able to see with bins.
