It'd buy something new and trade in something recent, so I'd get new games at launch for £15-20. Very rarely I'd find something old that I was interested in that for some reason flopped and was going for a fiver or something.
I am, frankly, surprised that the second hand market hasn’t eaten itself by now anyway. Low trade in prices and stupidly high selling prices mean that I haven’t been tempted to buy second hand for years. By the time games start to filter into second hand stock, its usually cheaper to buy it new.
Don't do any of that now though, and for just generally buying stuff yeah, it's crap.
