To be more helpful; surround sound is generally processed by the sound card. If your card does not have surround sound, even if your cans do it won't make any difference. I don't know that particular brand, but very few headsets have their own hardware surround driver by default - it's usually an expensive add-on. However, they are technically still surround... even if not surround out of the box.
