It's not going to be too long before realisation dawns over the populace that they're being charged the best part of a fiver for a piece of folded cardboard.
Although why it hasn't dawned on them yet is beyond me.
They managed to market themselves as a premium brand once but everyone knows Thornton's chocolate is crap now. Anyone with sense will find a local chocolate shop to get something of significantly higher quality, or head to the nearest Hotel Chocolat.
The only sad thing about it is Thornton's ice cream is surprisingly good. But they can't pay rent on all that high street square footage selling a few ice creams each day.
