@Shikasama the, neither Podolski or Giroud....or even Cazorla for that matter were champions league players. Podolski came from relegated cologne and barely featured in the CL for BM. The others had never played in the CL before.
To suggest that they weren't signings designed to push Arsenal forward and Champions League quality signings would be ludicrous.
