Mine would have to be the Mega Drive. I know on paper there are better consoles, but for me that was one of the best time in gaming. The Dreamcast would we a close second and if we are counting it the Amiga would be definitely up there.
It goes without saying that the best era in gaming was 16 bit era though. I feel sorry for anyone who didn't live through that generation!
