I love how defensive you lot get, who never tried things like the IBM real-time ray-tracer (on PS3 linux). It ran on just a single ps3(without rsx available) @ 1280x720@12-15fps.
You hear the words renderman and think I mean pixar's Cars visuals in real-time. Obviously I don't. But there is still a huge difference between real-time photon tracing and static world (high resolution/frame rate)PC rasterization graphics.
