Obama and the Democrats seem weak to me. The Republicans did the same thing in 2011 and the President conceded. They are doing exactly the same thing again and they might win again. This undermines Obama's position and mocks all those who voted for him.
But then again, as a second term President he probably has less influence now than he did in November, so he might not care either way.
