You seem to now be resembling the cynical chap sat at Firelink. "Why bother, they're all going to lag you to backstab death anyway"
@Zuluhero: Remember with the Centipede, if you just focus on chopping off his tail, and then picking up the drop, you get the lava ring... which enables taking him on in the lava for a much more badass looking fight
@McMothercruncher. Are you on consoles? Bare in mind a lot of low level invaders will still be left over BB glitch characters, and not necessarily super skilled players that have reached the far reaches of the game at a low soul level. If on PC, then I have no explanation.
