Thanks to some guy on AVforums, I dug out my old £199.99 32GB Premium pre-order cancellation email from Amazon from back in June, went on their online chat, and moaned that people who pre-ordered it during an exactly the same misprice in September all had their orders honoured. The bloke said "reorder, and I'll discount £100" 
So happy, also confirmed this morning that it'll arrive before Christmas.
So if you had your 32GB Premium £199.99 Amazon preorder cancelled in June, get onto them and you should be able to get it for the same price (might take a few attempts on their online chat, depends who you get). Might have to wait a few weeks, but it'll be here before Chrimbo which is the main thing for me. The main thing is you need to play big on the September misprice, that is what your argument is solely based on.
