Possibly, did SR exist in the 8-bit era? I remember the ads they used to run in mags around the early 90s... I actually have some of those old catalogues up in the loft somewhere, so I'll make an effort to dig them out and see who it was that used to take £5.95/£8.95 from my Dad on a bi-monthly basis back then
