Call of Duty certainly has used extreme violence in the past to demonize foreigners and glorify American military strength.
Funnily enough the only COD mission (in fact the only game) that actually really disturbed me was the first time I played 'Death From Above' mission. Everything else in COD is either Hollywood or just shock value.
