They should make it so you can kill the children, but if you do everyone attacks you and after a minute shadow tentacles come out of the ground and hold you in place while a hellmouth gradually opens at you feet, and when you are pulled in you are in an inescapable Oblivion plane with infinite enemies that gradually scale in difficulty, and you get a score for how many you kill before they bring you down.
