@Phattso As someone who became expert in using the four camera buttons on the Nintendo 64 to devastate people in Goldeneye, I can't agree about the problems you perceive with twin stick controls for FPS, I think they are magic.
Would the option of a sidewinder/sixaxis style gyro-aiming be what you are after? I'm all I'm favour of control options, it's bullshit you can't plug a mouse and keyboard into the Xbox. I'd still use the pad. Regardless of percieved advantages to mouse look for me an FPS is more about strategy than raw aiming.
