I've just gone back to painting after a good 20 year break. Shit. Is it really 20 years ? Fuuuuck.
Anyhow, my reason for return was due to restarting HeroQuest and wanting to do the figs right this time around.
I lucked out and someone gave me a bag of figs to practice on. All the GW paint range has bloody changed, but I love the paints I've tried so far. It took me a day to paint 4 skellies and I only did a white undercoat and devlin wash. Got some more paints for the mummies, I've really missed doing this.
My question is, for skellies I did the wash quite thick. Is it better to do a couple of washes or will that gradually muddy everything ?
