KJ, I mentioned it on the other page for me they need to go somewhere totally radical, like my suggestion of the Nano with a phone. Or go smaller (width wise) 6 x 3 icons could be an interesting approach. Everything seems focused on going bigger, smaller should be the new bigger.

But any radical move may well alienate a large percentage of their customer base.
A lot of people like simplicity, something minimalist and Apple do that very well.
If it aint broke [most Valuable Company ever], don't fix it.
I expect they probably don't feel they need to make to many drastic changes to any of their product lines.
Lets face it, it's going to sell well and the formula will continue to work for a long time, when they release the iPad Mini thing that will sell well.
