Regardless of region any blocks are IP-based, so I get lots of problems because I'm based in Korea (I sometimes get benefit of US prices, but occasionally the UK prices are cheaper and certain companies have many titles missing in this region such as Sega, Capcom, and Konami IIRC).
ps. re: Batman : AA, I am surprised at how quickly I got used to the mouse and keyboard for a genre it really shouldn't work well on but I got sick of the effort of getting a joypad working so stuck with it)
