    I have the opposite problem caused by playing handhelds at bedtime, now if I play handhelds in teh day I get very sleepy... Stupid brain associating handheld gaming with going to sleep. One thing that helps is playing games in Japanese as it is tiring for me to translate in my head while playing,so if you know a foreign language (less than fluently) it may help.
