Crafting sucks. I have about 500 iron... but the hell if I can level up enough to get past using copper. On the other hand, it's a way to knock out a cheap level here and there so I can't complain too much.
Also, not every tradeskill uses Iron. JC, for example, uses copper and silver but not iron.
