Saw this at the weekend (in 2D) and it's honestly one of the best popcorn movies I've seen in aaaaaaaaages \O/|
Surprisingly, there were very few parts of it where the CGI wasnt good enough to allow me to suspend my disbelief and "get into" the story. The only other CGI films that have done that for me are Toy Story and Monsters Inc.
As a couple of other people have pointed out/suspected, Ray Winstone is pretty OTT in places - the most jarring example being when he show's up in the village vowing to "kill your mon-STAH!" in a laughable cockney accent.
Will definitely try and find it showing in 3D somewhere
