The good old times of stealth games are sadly over as it seems. Thief3 and the first two Splinter Cell games are amongst my favorite stealth games on PC. Especially the dark medieval flair of Thief was really great stuff. Another game that did a good job at making sneaking interesting was Square Enix with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I enjoyed getting the Ghost and Smooth Operator bonuses.
