Yeah, intervals seem to make a big difference. Thing is, I'm a bit worried about getting injured doing them. |
Was doing some hill sprints a couple of weeks back and felt something pop in my knee. Not too much pain after a short rest, so jogged home slowly. Since then, it's been giving me grief after every run. Nothing serious but needs an extra recovery day.
Tempted to just go back to a steady pace for all runs. Probably detrimental overall, but at my age I don't want to risk another injury
