I dunno - the muscle endurance to provide a decent level of functional force over a longer duration has many practical applications.
A good 1RM does too of course, but I wouldn't say it's outright better than being able to do sustained bodyweight stuff (though I guess it is more impressive in a bravado style manner)
But the ability to do both is better IMO.
