Something that I have also found weird about footballers is there willingness to go anywhere. How often do you hear about a player turning down a club because they didn't want to move to a particular city? I know they can't pick and choose who they play for, but then again nobody can when it comes to jobs either, but you still wouldn't move somewhere you didn't want to live.
I hope what i just wrote makes sense.
Worth adding players also get a ton of money through sponsorship deals.
