It exemplifies everything that is wrong with the Wii controllers. I'm playing it on Easy and I still had a hard time battling the first ghost. I've beaten the Xbox version on Normal and intend to go back and do it on Hard at some point.Bulbatron wrote:Ooo, can you let us know what it's like when you get it. Especially the controls?
Project Zero 2 Wii Edition should be on its way to my front door as I type.
As I say, perhaps I just need to get used to it, but at the moment I can't help but advise you just leave this and grab the PlayStation 2 version. Or better still, the Xbox Director's Cut version, which features both the traditional camera option and a new first-person camera. Both options are great and much better than the over-the-shoulder-style controls for general movement found in this new 'Wii Edition'.
The graphics seem a little improved, but not much as far as I could tell, although the Xbox Director's Cut graphics seemed crisper. Is it because they were showing in HD on my Xbox 360?
The old voice-work is much better than the new voices, but the new voices certainly don't offend me.
Initial Summary - Fantastic game, crippled by terrible controls and a camera which doesn't really work in tight spaces.
