The whole Premium thing is bound to cause a split in the user base. For example I play on the DM/EG server quite a bit, but since a lot of those guys have Premium I'll have to avoid the server until CQ is released for us plebs.
Fair enough, but a lot of people simply can't afford Premium, or could spend the money on a newish game. As agparrot said, it's hard not to feel that EA leading the charge into the new Pay-Per-Play shite that the industry is heading towards.
