yeah, that tracking tool is utter bull. I have my own tracking workflow, that works normally better:
1. Go to apple and get your tracking number. Should start with "80".
2. go to http://www.apecode.com/appletrack/ and input your tracking number. You get more detailled information. Here you also see what company is currently moving your package. But they don't know everything, so you should then headover to the individual homepage of the delivery company to check for further details.
3. For example, at some point they hand the package over to Kuehne+Nagel, then head over to http://www.kn-portal.com/ and track it there. They do normally the shipping from the assembly facility to Netherlands.
4. From Netherlands to the final destination it's normally TNT, at least here in Switzerland, so I go to http://www.tntswisspost.ch/DE/default.aspx, so I know when it arrives here.
That's about it. Hope it's works for you to. I used it the last time a year ago, for my black Macbook.
