I'd be more generous and give it a 7/10, but given who made it, 6 is better.
Check the writers on IMDB, one's output contains TV stuff (Lost, etc) while the other has only written some bad "zombies in Moscow" movie prior to this. His next project is "unnamed Mummie Reboot". How can such rookie/bad writers get near this remains a mystery to me.
My favourite part of stupid scientist behaviour (or actually any human for that matter): the first 2 victims express multiple times how scared they are of the life signs found on the pyramid. ("fuck that, we're going the other way"
. Yet, when they find the life form - which looks scary as fuck in a primitive sense - they decide to... cuddle with it. That is really bad writing.
