'Cos Joffrey is a psychopathic dick whose child she'd eventually have to bear, and King's Landing was being ransacked, as well as being full of people wanting to kill/rape her, and Hound can pull people's guts out with his bare hands. At a guess.
Anyway, fantastic episode. The lad playing Joffrey is great, the bit where the gravity of the situation hits and his face dropped, revealing a frightened 13/14 year old was fucking excellent.
