I totally disagree with ecureuil. Playing with random people can be a lot of fun. Yes, you can get a game with a few idiots but equally, you can meet people who know how to play the game and want to work as a team. |
I think that not knowing people you're playing with can actually enhance the experience. It's a bit like that feeling you get in 'real life' when you help a stranger. It's also fun to play alongside of people with varying skill and experience, passing on advice and helping them progress.
It is also cool that, after the game, you can see a list of people you've just played alongside and add them to your steam friends for future campaigns.
