It's a bit poor at that, but the two tactics I use are:|
sum(column:column), eg sum(B:B) which will be the whole column, of infinite length. However, if you have other data in there, such as a column heading, then that'll be mucked up.
The alternative is to use a huge dummy value, eg:
I know it doesn't look pretty...
Or, if you know what the final value of the last cell of the column is, you could use a lookup or a match function to return the row number, and then use that as the last part of your sum formula, which would work dynamically.
