WAR's all based on what the player 'wants' from the game, for an actal feel like you affect the world and meaningful pvp it fits the bill, although i've always agreed being a population dependent game it NEEDS the server's rolling up into 6-7 servers pritty sharpish..

TBH WAR is nishe marketed sadly because 9 times out of 10 the 'player' wants instant gratifaction and a feeling of leetness within the first month WAR is a very good 'dabble' title and doesn't really 'do' what a lot of players want, either expecting a 'better wow' or 'DAOC2'.

If WAR keeps itself going for at least 12 months, with the amount of 'dissapointment' players are having from overhyping titles to the point of instant perfection on release, WAR could be a good fallback title by then, WAR's a good title, just not a big title.
