@kdsh7 That's a completely different experience to the one I had at Game in Southampton. I was really impressed with the trade in prices on my 3DS and games. As I was buying the Vita they gave me 25% extra on the trades. I got £38 for my Res Revelations with CP, the chap at the till put it through separately £30 for the game and £8 for the CP.
They said that the extra on the trades was a special offer running until the 29th. You should have words with them and ask whether you got the 25% extra and why they couldn't just split your Res bundle.
