    If you view Achievements as a kind of scrapbook to remind you of favourite moments from past games, then there really isn't a problem. I personally find that easy achievements like 10G for taking a photo, feel really meaningless and are quickly forgotten; whereas completing a campaign on the hardest setting really is something you want to remember. If you find your own score feels 'low' compared to other people, just remember that that guy who is aiming for a million GS has had to play through a lot of really rubbish games, and probably wasn't having much fun which doing so - a bit of a plonker really.
