Yep, I tried Burnout Crash. Personally I wouldn't recommend it. I quite enjoyed the trial and splashed the cash on the full game, but found a lack of variety and a lot of the game is based on random events rather than good play.
Also, autolog which worked so well in NFS Hot Pursuit is fairly sparse in terms of player numbers, so doesn't really add to the experience.
