I saw the prologue at the IMAX last week - wow.
I was blown away by how intimidating Bane was, he's incredibly menacing in his speech and physical presence. Any fears I had that next to The Joker he wouldn't be a scary villain have been put to rest. He's frightening in a different way, he has this air of, forgive the pretentiousness, threatening calm. His words are well-chosen, and in contrast to The Joker's manic talky nature.
My only complaint with it was that I found Bane a little difficult to understand, but I noticed that in the new trailer the other day that he was definitely clearer, so I expect in the finished version it will be fine.
"No one cared who I was until I put on the mask."
Knew it was him under the hood as soon as I saw him, but it still gave me chills when he first spoke!
