Until this week I hadn't realised how useful Marksman is on Hardcore, it's so helpful at pointing out snipers and campers who would otherwise be invisible and now it's on all my classes.
The spawning can be pretty stupid but I think it's partly down to tighter maps and lots of folk running about like madmen which often means there's no sensible spawning locations.
