I heard when the Vita was first announced the possibility of cross gaming with PS3 that'd be cool for this game and if there's enough i'd buy both but again it'd need to be done how i'd expect squaresoft to have done it not Square-enix who seem to have lost their sparkle.
I completely agree if square ever comes round to remaking FFVii should keep the story and only implement voice acting and base it around the quality of Xiii although for me they could leave the materia and battle system untouched for me it would still be great. The inclusion of cross platform play between Vita and PS3 would be a huge plus and add even more incentive for people to buy a vita making it even more of a unit seller.
