Lots of speculation in hay story - can't see EA buying them so soon after buying Playfish - plus EA bought another casual games company a while back I think?
Seems to be a lot of money around from Asian companies at the mo - plenty of acquisitions lately in mobile games. But a valuation of $1B seems very high to me.
