My 2 cents: James Hetfield's singing voice used to be great (especially around '...And Justice'), but I find it really hard to listen to any recent Metallica due mainly to the vocals. James has just lost the vocal intensity he used to have, which is a shame as the songs (especially the older ones), really suffer from it. I know he has screwed his voice to the point where he can't maintain his old style of singing, but still... Metallica would be so much better!
