I'm not going to sugarcoat this, beloved Eurogamer forum user - we need you. We need you to join the Eurogamer Brink tournament team. Three of you.

Without you there is no hope. Not least because we won't have a team.

Briefing below (pulled from just published story). Note that to enter yourself for the team you must <a type="int" href="http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-04-14-join-eurogamers-brink-tournament-team-blog-entry">go to the actual article itself</a>.

Eurogamer is looking for three loyal readers to represent us in Bethesda's forthcoming Brink championship. The competence of Eurogamer as a whole - its staff, its readers, the guy who takes the bins out - rests on your shoulders.

You'll compete in a Brink tournament against other websites, and boy oh boy have they being saying some mean things about you.

If you lose, we'll be embarrassed, but we'll hide it as we thank you for taking part.

The three Eurogamer readers selected will be captained by long-time Eurogamer contributor and Megaton editor Dan Whitehead. Some say it's because he's the best shooter we've got, which is absolute rubbish - I just happen to be busy that evening.

The tournament runs from Wednesday 4th May to Friday 6th May, and the event takes place in Bromley, London, at the home of Brink developer Splash Damage. Your transport and lodging for the two nights will be paid for.

It goes without saying that you'll need to be free on those dates. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid UK passport.

The tournament is based around the Stopwatch mode of Brink. This features two teams taking it in turns to complete a mission. Both teams are timed, and the one that completes the task fastest wins. If neither finishes the mission, whichever team completed the most primary objectives wins.

Should you go on to win, and you bloody well should, you'll receive either a PS3 or Xbox 360 and a copy of Brink. You may get a t-shirt and a poster, too.

So we turn to you, dear readers, and ask: are you good enough? Can you hold your own when it comes to sharp shooting? Are you ready to represent Eurogamer? Most importantly, have you re-read the conditions for entry above and are you definitely available on the dates mentioned?

Then enlist - and bloody well let them have it!

How? Just answer this stupidly simple question. Your name and email address will be automagically entered into the running. Good luck!
